It is important to note that updates to bus stops may take up to a day to occur. Early updates can be initiated by accessing Menu > Settings > Update bus data.

This real-time bus tracker for LRT Lothian buses and trams is developed by Andrew de Quincey and Colin Paton, utilizing data from the CEC My Bus Tracker website. For more information, please refer to http://code.google.com/p/redbus/.

Notes:

• If you encounter any issues with the app, we kindly request that you send an email in addition to commenting. Providing additional details via email expedites the troubleshooting process beyond what Market comments allow, although we do value all feedback.
• If the app appears to have disappeared following an update, it is advised to uninstall and reinstall it using "Settings > Applications > Manage Applications" to restore its functionality.
• Users with a homescreen icon on an HTC Sense phone may notice that the icon does not update until a reboot is performed. Despite this, the app should operate normally without needing a reboot. This issue is attributed to an HTC bug, which unfortunately we are unable to rectify.
• The app does not support the new pre-caching or vector maps features available in recent Google Maps versions. These advanced features are internal to Google Maps and are not accessible for external applications like ours. Consequently, our app relies on basic bitmap-based maps without pre-caching until Google extends support for these features. Should this change in the future, we are eager to implement them.
